Paula McIntyre
We are delighted to have the fantastic Paula McIntyre on board this year to lead the Theatre of Food
After having trained at Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, USA, Paula McIntyre returned to the UK in 1993 to open her own award winning restaurant in Manchester
Since returning to Northern Ireland in 1998, she has worked as Head Chef in several establishments, has made many appearances on national television both as guest chef and in her own TV series ‘Taste for Adventure’. She is also a regular contributor to Radio Ulster and has been featured on BBC Radio 4 ‘Kitchen Cabinet’.
Additionally she specialises in fine dining and catering for a variety of events. She guest chefs at special events in Montalto House, both hosting lifestyle days and cooking for special guests like the President of Ireland, Tourism NI and Lady Gaga.
She works for different food companies developing recipes, food styling, hosting events and is a judge for the Hotel and Catering Review's Gold Medal Awards, the Restaurant Association of Ireland and judged at the 2014 Great Taste Awards amoung others.
Paula had a regular cooking column in Sunday Life newspaper and contributes to various papers in Northern Ireland including the Irish News, Newsletter and Belfast Telegraph. She currently writes a weekly column in Farming Life.

Adrian Martin
Adrian Martin is an Irish chef from County Cavan, Ireland
Adrian has trained in some of Ireland’s most renowned restaurants including MacNean House (where he worked for six years) and Michelin Star restaurant, Bon Appetite in Malahide.
He is a weekly regular on the Virgin Media Six O’Clock Show as well as guest appearances on RTE Today. When he is not on TV, Adrian travels all around Ireland visiting schools and teaching on the importance of good healthy food and appearing at festivals and charity events.
Adrian also has a selection of successful cookery books; ‘Create Beautiful at Home’ and ‘Fakeway by Adrian Martin’. We can’t wait to see what Adrian will dish up at Festival Lough Erne!

Glen Wheeler
Best known as Head Chef & owner of the outstanding 28 Darling Street, Glen Wheeler offers a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry
Previously as Head Chef at the award winning ‘MacNean House and Restaurant’, Glen worked with one of Ireland’s best-loved and most respected chefs Neven Maguire and this year featured on the BBC's Great British Menu.
Glen has also worked in some of the world’s best restaurants as his passion for food and desire to hone his skills have taken him far and wide. He has worked in a number of top Michelin starred restaurants including Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Royal Hospital Road’ in London (three stars), ‘The Vineyard’ in Berkshire, (two stars), ‘Alinea’ in Chicago (three stars) and NOMA in Copenhagen (two stars), and which at the time had been awarded the title of World’s Best Restaurant.
We are delighted to have Glen on board for Festival Lough Erne 2019 and can't wait to see what hints & tips he has brought back from the Great British Menu!
